Former Bethlehem Catholic, Kolbe Academy principal Petruzzelli requires work in Delaware | Lehigh Valley Regional News

John Petruzzelli’s strategies to just take a split from Catholic schooling did not fairly function out.  

The former Bethlehem Catholic Significant College principal was going to choose a couple of months off soon after stepping down as head of Kolbe Academy, the nation’s very first Catholic restoration substantial faculty for pupils with alcohol and drug issues.  

His break did not very last very long. St. Elizabeth Significant School came calling. Petruzzelli has been named the new principal of the Benedictine faculty in Wilmington, Delaware. The previous BeCa Golden Hawk is getting a St. Elizabeth Viking, again. 

Petruzzelli has served the school before as a instructor and head of admissions. 

Locally, he was principal at Bethlehem Catholic from 2010 to 2017 before leaving for St. Joseph’s Preparatory College in Philadelphia. He returned to the Lehigh Valley in 2018 to build Kolbe Academy in Bethlehem. The Diocese of Allentown’s recovery school is now moving to Bath. 

At Bethlehem Catholic, “Mr. P” was recognised for his enthusiasm and for staying existing at several school gatherings.  

“So I under no circumstances saw this coming,” Petruzzelli stated on social media about the St. Elizabeth position. “Soon after choosing to phase down from Kolbe I planned to acquire a number of months off and recharge the batteries. But God intervened.” 

He explained that he will provide as the superior school’s interim principal for one calendar year.

The Purchase of St. Benedict is a religious purchase within the Catholic church that fosters a feeling of local community and a really like of studying. 

Petruzzelli stated in his social media post that he is keen to rejoin the St. Elizabeth Faculty for the following year. He also commented on how his designs were outdated by a bigger electric power.
